Job Description

This is a full-time position and job-holder is expected to understand the entire shipbuilding environment.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

The job-holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Representative for the company on shipyard/ship building projects
  • Effectively communicates, understand and convey customer and project requirements.
  • Support on troubleshooting, providing technical support
  • Team leader and lead the service team when onboard
  • Documentation on related projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requisites:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marine or Shipbuilding field
  • At least 5 years’ relevant practical experience in shipyard/shipbuilding operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of shipbuilding industry related codes, standards and guidelines.
  • Must be able to read and understand drawings on ship structures

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

The job-holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintenance and repair work on a mobile basis
  • Maintain a high level of QA/QC and job reporting
  • Maintain a culture of continuing improvement in safety performance and awareness across teams & work areas

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requisites:

  • ITE/ Diploma in any engineering field
  • Experience in welding or any machinery repair
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in small boat maintenance is preferred
  • Troubleshoot and diagnostic experience
  • Using MS Office

This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

The job-holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Produce and prepare technical drawings such as detailed shop drawings, fabricate drawings and as-built drawings as per contract specifications.
  • Coordinate, review and verify drawings including owner & subcontractor’s drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
  • Update and comply with the code of practice on electrical, mechanical as required.
  • Attend meetings with our project team, clients, and subcontractors for project related matters.

  • Equipment and tool & jig design, assembly and installation with mechanical and product specification, followed by testing, debugging, troubleshooting and hand over to end user.
  • Project management in plan and execution of activities, following equipment management procedure for execution.
  • Support production or maintenance group in equipment related trouble analysis with statistical tools and counter-measure implementation.
  • Support or in-charge for factory automation process & improvement.

Job Description

This is a full-time position and job-holder is responsible for providing leadership & management for electrical design, procurement, installation and commissioning to meet SMS project requirements, while maintaining a focus on achieving results efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

The job-holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide technical support and assist Senior Operations Manager in project planning and coordination of all site activities.
  • Prepare and revise engineering documents, drawings, risk assessments, method statements, safe work procedures, operations and maintenance manuals for all necessary works.
  • To issue final specification/bill of materials for purchase order and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure budget and terms and conditions of purchases are met.
  • Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of goods, equipment and fabricated items.
  • Liaise with consultants, owners and relevant authorities on their engineering request.
  • Plan and schedule work activities at sites in accordance to master program and ensure work is conducted in a timely and safe manner.

Job Description:

This is a full-time position and job-holder is required to:

  • Ensure technical proposal write up is accurate and according to latest rules and regulations
  • Source, negotiate and obtain best prices and quotes from vendors and subcontractors
  • Review terms and conditions of subcontractors and vendors quotes
  • Submit and perform ship building projects cost estimation for management approval
  • Understand shipbuilding process, classification societies regulations and statutory rules
  • Prepare well written detailed technical specifications write up proposal for new build aluminium and steel vessels
  • Study projects specification to understand customer’s requirement by identifying project requirements, labour, and material costs
  • Interpret blueprints and analyse related applicable documents to prepare estimates
  • Work closely with vendors, sub-contractors, engineers, and naval architects, external ship designer and classification societies during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy
  • Adhere to company standard and guidelines when providing cost estimate focusing on maximising profit while mitigate any potential risks to the company
  • Cash flow budgeting
  • Assist sales team in tender preparation transactions
  • Support sale teams with project pricing in a timely manner
  • Maintain thorough records of all project documentation
  • Any Ad-hoc tasks

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requisites:

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role with proven track record within similar industry (Engineering, Ship Building, Heavy Manufacturing, Oil & Gas)
  • Past experience in new build aluminium vessel cost estimate and ability to write shipbuilding technical specification is highly desirable

Job Description

This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

The job-holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensure workplace safety, health and environment practices, procedures and processes comply with WSH Act and regulations, Code of Practice and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Manage incident via inhouse incident reporting system and perform investigations, recommend actions and follow up on matters arising from these activities.
  • Collate and analyze incident statistics (incident / near miss) and recommend intervention strategies; to eliminate/reduce the risk of future occurrences and incidents of ill health and lost workdays.
  • Inspect workplace to identify hazard and risk.
  • Perform annual internal audit as well as the support external audit when assigned.
  • Conduct Safety Induction Program for all new employees as well as developing and implementing programs to raise employees’ awareness of work risks and to help cultivate a strong safety culture within the organization.
  • Review and update WSH requirements in Company’s Safety Management System manual and support safety programs / initiative.
  • Prepare and implement safe work procedure and risk assessment for every single job.
  • Conduct daily site recces and inspections with relevant personnel as part of work monitoring.
  • Manage permit application and renewal process.
  • Conduct HSE promotional events.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requisites:

  • Diploma/Degree in any Engineering field with at least 3 years of relevant experience in WSH related role.
  • Knowledge on ISO 45001 and 14001 standards and any other HSE related legislations and requirements.
  • Certified as Confined Space Safety Assessor.
  • Certified as Shipyard Hotwork Safety Assessor.
  • Work at height assessor.
  • Proactive and meticulous personality with good analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Possess good communication, presentation, MS Office applications (Excel, Words and Powerpoint).
  • Able to work in fast paced environment with accuracy.

· Maintain proper book keeping and filing of agreement/contract and shared drive.

· Follow up on client projects and assists in the developing presentation slides.

· Assist to conduct technical and commercial discussions with customers together with BDM/GM.

· Assist to develop new local and overseas market.

· Any other ad hoc duties.
