Strategic Marine recognises the growing importance and cost effective benefits of having well trained and informed ship crews, and has recently created a Training and Documentation Department for clients.

The Department has developed multi-faceted instruction courses for commercial and government clients alike, with programs that can be customised to suit different organisations.

The company’s training modules are designed to take a client’s personnel from the classroom to the ship, or alternatively will provide a “train–the-trainers” program.

Newly built vessels are now delivered with a comprehensive instruction package, ensuring that crews and maintenance staff are familiar with vessel systems and equipment.

All instruction courses are fully customised to address:

• Crew certificated levels
• Company policies
• Vessel particulars and equipment levels

To date, more than 500 personnel worldwide have benefited from these packages.
