Strategic Marine (V) was awarded the Aucham Australian Business Awards, Business Excellence Award, which is an award that recognises, in the judges opinion, a company in Vietnam with ties to Australia, that has achieved the most outstanding performance of all of the entrants in the last 12 months.

 "It was my honour to receive the award on behalf of Strategic Marine.  I noted in my short address to the audience that; It would be impossible to achieve any award of excellence without a “global” team of excellent people", stated Mark Schiller (Managing Director of Vietnam)

Strategic Marine views this official recognition to be symbolic of the organisations growth and recent successes in it global shipbuilding strategy. The company's move to extend its shipbuilding capacity to include facilities in Singapore and Vietnam has proven to be an immediate success.
